Born in San Francisco, I grew up in Lucas Valley (Marin County) 15 years then, lived in Hopewell, New Jersey (between Princeton and Trenton) for 3 years, finishing high school. After graduation, chose to live in Bozeman, Montana (close to Yellowstone National Park and the Big Sky Ski Resort) for 5 years, attending Montana State University, earning degrees.

After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business (Marketing Option) along with a Minor in Communication from MSU, I lived in Terra Linda (Marin County) for 6 years, continuing Multimedia studies, working.

In 1999 I moved to central Santa Rosa (Sonoma County, the "Heart of the Wine Country") and lived there for 10 years, attending a quality college for additional post-graduate studies. I broadened my education studying visual media (Computer Art, Applied Graphics, Desktop Publishing, Art, Multimedia, and web design) at Santa Rosa Junior College, while working.

With regards to my 11 years of college studies and two degrees that accompany two certificates (that relate to visual media composition and presentation), I have undertaken a variety of post-graduate studies and working in local businesses, I have expanded my knowledge of various programs that are applicable to corporate establishments and gained additional skill and knowledge of Multimedia and HTML, in pursuit of an occupation that relates to promotion, advertising or marketing.

I enjoyed the opportunity to develop my skills in project coordination, client services, problem solving and negotiating, applying my studies and abilities, seeking an opportunity where my experience, initiative and dedication to both personal and organizational goals will be valued.

Clementine Darling

Clementine Darling is an Americana Folk Singer-Songwriter with her heels dug deep in San Francisco Bay Area’s music scene. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Darling busked her way down the West Coast in 2010, on a road trip that led her to put down roots in Sonoma County, California. The two locals influenced her debut 11:11 EP and subsequent Live At The Lost Church— a collection of introspective songs and soulful ballads, with undertones of Seattle 90’s grunge.

In May 2023, Darling released her third independent album Bootstraps EP, a collection of songs that spin a tail of overcoming, hope, and chasing dreams on horseback. Darling has found her confident, soulful voice playing music all around the Bay Area, and at festivals including The Emerald Cup, sharing the bill with Margo Price and Rising Appalachia, SXSW, Railroad Square Music Festival and Balanced BreakFEST.

It's a blend of American primitive simplicity, meticulous rendering and, in the case of my paintings, an unmistakable tight finish. My sculpture follows suit. I've been a gallery artist and illustrator for most of my career.  It's only been in the last decade or so that I chose to step into the world of metal sculpture.

My work is an expression of the dance of form, movement and transformation. The forms emerge from a personal definition of alchemy, myth and time. Let’s dance. Through the creation of stone sculpture my work is to bring the power of beauty into focus. To use the power of beauty to expand, heal, teach, soothe, comfort and delight. To use the power of beauty to enlighten the mind and spirit, to pierce the veil of time and thought and to invite the divine. Scott Decker was born and raised in Healdsburg. Scott was first drawn to music by way of the guitar at age 13. He began studying guitar with local guitar player and educator Chris Pimentel.
Scott's formal music education started at the Santa Rosa Junior College where he discovered his love for the jazz art form while studying under Bennett Friedman. Later, Scott received a B.A. in Jazz Guitar Performance from Sonoma State University, earning the honorary Mel Graves 'Distinguished Graduate in the field of Jazz' award.
Scott has had the pleasure of studying and playing music with such notable artists and educators: Dayna Stephens, Randy Vincent, Doug Leibinger, Matt Wilson, Babatunde Lea, Julian Lage, Steve Rubardt, Cliff Hugo, Kendrick Freeman, and more. Scott has been playing and studying music for two decades, and can be found playing in various musical groups throughout Sonoma County.

paints her iconic animals and angels wherever her brush lands - whether it is recycled boards or tin flashing, fine art materials, or house paint - the sorts of things that end up in the colorful studio/garden of her well-lived-in Santa Rosa home.

  My work is characterized by expressionist figurative imagery and brushwork, as well as a high key palette, bold composition and strong contrast. The mixed media paintings and drawings are made on a range of surfaces including recycled printing plates, door skin, aluminum flashing, building paper, mat board, canvas and paper. I work large or small scale, with fine artist's materials or recycled materials and house paint, and with classical or contemporary themes. I use real life, dreams, mythology, folklore and religious traditions. Pattern, symbolism and metaphor express the humor and pathos of the human condition Subjects include commonplace angels, rural blight, dogs and cats (frequently as symbols for male and female), and food. My art is about the connection between the sacred and the mundane. The basic necessities of life - food, clothing and shelter are always connected, on a deeper level to the primal and the sacred. My mother taught me from an early age to see the mystical and spiritual qualities in nature.

Jerry Dodrill Photography, Teacher/Instructor, Visual Arts "Jerry Dodrill is an adventurer and award-winning photographer who has traveled to remote corners of the world in search of unique perspectives and experiences. His immense talent and creative eye have been well recognized through international awards and exhibition in fine galleries, such as the Ansel Adams in Yosemite, Mountain Light, Mumm Napa Valley, and the Banff Center for Mountain Culture. As a workshop facilitator for Mountain Light Photography, Visionary Wild, and Sierra Nevada College, he has proven himself as a highly engaging and effective photographic educator. An expert mountain climber with degrees in Fine Art and Photography (Pacific Union College 1997), Jerry is passionate about preservation and was a protégé of legendary Galen Rowell in the late 1990's. Today he resides in the Sonoma Coast village of Bodega, California, focusing on assignment photography, writing, exhibitions, and sharing his vision and expertise with others through destination-based photo workshops and tours. Jerry's work has been widely published in ad campaigns, books, and publications and is represented by the stock agency Aurora Photos. Ruth Donovan

For the last decade I have been heavily involved in Sonoma county's art community. I have dedicated my time and studio space to host group art shows for other up and coming local talent. This is important to me because I was taken under the wing of a retired photographer, Ron Emanuel, when I first moved to Sonoma county. I feel inspired to pay it forward to other aspiring artists.  Community and active support are key to a healthy art community.

Helena Donzelli Artisan, Other, Recovery Fund Grantee   Helena E. Donzelli Artist/Humanitarian Helena Donzelli spent the first many years of her career in the high tech industry in Silicon Valley. She has varied experience in ranging from recruiting, to Marketing & positioning then leaving the industry with her last position as a technical due diligence specialist for high tech investment and venture capital firms. During her time off, she persued her passion in the world of visual arts with plans of leaving high tech and creating for a living. In 2011, she moved to Sonoma County to bring this dream to fruition. Utilizing her background in Interior Design, she purchased furniture retail store in Healdsburg, Ca. Initially, She sought out training by Annie Sloan who lives in England and has a line of paint created just for furniture. She was also educated and trained to offer classes at the store teaching the chalk painting technique on furniture. She also offered custom painted furniture pieces as well as retail stock on the floor, all hand painted. After closing the store in 2014, she continued to teach classes in furniture painting for Benjamin Moore, local retail locations, in her local art studio and at Art Escape in Sonoma, Ca. Helena’s current creative venture was born out of losing her own home in the Northern California wildfires. She decided to make art out of the survived objects and posted her ideas on Facebook. Within 24 hours, she had 14 messages from other survivors asking her to make them art out of the charred objects. That was the beginning of her new business “Ressurected” in Sonoma- she acquired a warehouse as of January 1, 2018 and has been creating art for fire survivors as well as for retail sales. Helena also was commissioned to do an art installation at a new restaurant in Kenwood as a tribute to the community. Since the fires, She has been featured in Press Democrat,  Sonoma Magazine, North Bay News, San Francisco Chronicle, Sonoma Index Tribune, Sonoma Sun, Kenwood Press, Chanel 13 CBS News Sacramento, KTVU Chanel 2 News San Francisco, Chanel 5 KCBS News San Francisco & KCBS Radio San Francisco.
Sara Downing
Sara Downing Design, Functional Art, Furniture, Interior Design, Photography, Sculpture, Visual Arts  I have spent the majority of my artistic career in photography, music and design+build fields. The majority of my photographic work over the last 25 years has been commercial in nature, with a focus on portraiture and architecture. Currently, my focus is designing and executing 2 and 3 dimensional large-scale photographic image installations for both residential and commercial applications.  My work tends to reflect painterly and abstract forms and I often concentrate my efforts on textural worlds distilled from the often-labeled mundane. I aim to surprise audiences with a new way to experience photography in a physically immersive construct. The more I walk this earth the more apparent it is to me. Tapping into which thoughts and actions bring me joy conversely allows me to more fully identify that which I should let go. What works for our STUFF also works for our psyche. To cut through the din of external voices telling us any number of things; to come to rely on one's own gauge to determine what feels good, what feels nourishing, what feels inspiring.

Angelina Duckett Functional Art I am an architectural mosaicist specializing in custom, site-specific installations for businesses, residences and public art. Mosaics are ideal for public spaces as they can withstand abuse while adding spectacular color, interest and energy to an area.

Erick Dunn - MOVED TO DRAFT 6/22/23 - NO LONGER IN SONOMA CO... Mixed, Other, Recovery Fund Grantee, Sculpture, Visual Arts Using my skills as a professional in the visual effects industry, I have been molding and casting nature and creating nature based art for nearly a quarter of a century. My designs are not only inspired by nature, but derived from actual specimens collected, molded and organized by category before being recombined, remolded and reformed into new creations. My approach to art is like as a scientist, conducting experiments and collecting data to come up with theories as to why I love doing this so much. It gives me the greatest joy and satisfaction to create something new in collaboration with our Mother Nature. She has created for us an infinite sea of diversity from which to be delighted and inspired. I feel it is the least thanks I can give to create something back for her in appreciation for this wonderful gift we call life!

I am a licensed cosmetologist specializing in hair and makeup styling for film, photography and bridal. Im a freelance artist based in Sonoma County working all of north and south Bay Area. Led by my heart, I chose to study at The Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco. After graduating i was introduced into the bridal industry where I have enjoyed working for the past 8 years. I was blessed with a highly professional and knowledgeable mentor who I  learned a great deal from over the years. I have also studied advanced hair and makeup techniques at Hollywood Makeup School in Los Angeles. By taking many classes and workshops through the years i continue to educate myself on the latest trends, tools and techniques in the industry, deepening my understanding of the beauty world and how to keep my skills fresh and on point.   Ive had the pleasure of working on set with some incredible photographers and I aim to branch out to do more on set styling for film and photography. I feel that my experience and expertise lends itself to be successful in this field.
