Work closely with the Education Committee Chair and the Operations Manager to support the arts education program of Petaluma Arts Center.

Projects this semester will include coordinating Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) field trips with local schools, compiling information for the Petaluma Arts Center Education handbook, and researching classes for the 2018 Arts Camp program.

This is a great way to gain nonprofit administration and arts education experience. Learn the behind the scenes of an arts education program, and gain hands-on experience. Intern will gain experience in education programming, scheduling, and arts administrative procedure. Business administration, business management, education, early childhood studies, art, and art history majors will find this a valuable experience.

This is an unpaid internship opportunity. Hours are flexible, 3-4 hours a week. This position will work remotely to coordinate field trips inquiries totaling one hour weekly on average. The intern will work on-site at the arts center for 3 hours once a week.
