Patrick O'Rourke Recovery Fund Grantee, Visual Arts Patrick O’Rourke is a contemporary artist from Northern California, crafting beautiful landscapes and creative textural images. He paints a richly diverse subject matter, but draws primary inspiration from the oak studded hills, rolling vineyards, soaring redwoods, and rugged coastlines of Napa and Sonoma Counties.This artistic process began as a child under the influence of his mother, a life long artist working in oils and pastels. Patrick has worked in all mediums throughout his life, but now devotes himself to acrylics on canvas. His work can be found in the homes of fine art collectors throughout the world.

My name is Jess and I am a Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator from California, currently residing in Portland, Oregon.

I have been a Graphic Designer for over 10 years. After working for Stanford University Graduate School of Business for nearly 5 of those years, I needed to forge my own path!

I specialize in custom Presentations, Branding, Illustrations, and Marketing Collateral. My favorite projects are to collaborate with clients on Complex Infographics, Figurative Illustrations, Music Merchandise, Designing for Understanding, and combining graphics with beautifully designed text. I even do video editing and basic animation.

Jennifer Shada
Jennifer Shada Recovery Fund Grantee, Visual Arts Jennifer Shada (b. 1988) is a Bay Area visual artist who finds passion in both learning and teaching. While earning her BFA from Sonoma State University in 2011, Shada was teaching art classes to students in grades K-12. Since graduating from California College of the Arts with her MFA in 2016, Shada has worked as a studio assistant for Mario Pires Cordiero in San Francisco and has co-founded artist collective ONE + ONE + TWO— aiming to bridge the gap between individuals artists with resources in the Bay Area.
Saani Smith
Saani Smith Artisan, Jewelry, Recovery Fund Grantee I was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to the United States in 1969. Having lived all over the East Coast for a decade, I decided to move to a warmer CA. I lived in Sonoma County for many years but got burnt out in the Tubbs CA Wildfires of 2017 and subsequently am temporarily living in Marin county until we rebuild. Retired as a Jet Engine Mechanic from United Airlines with 4 shoulder surgeries, I had to do something to keep busy. I started making jewelry and giving to friends and family but they loved it so much, they encouraged me to make a business of it. My creations can be found at Sister’s Consignment in Santa Rosa, Yeah Baby in Fairfax, Encore and Bella boutique in San Rafael. I also sell at shows around town. Look for Saani’s Signature Jewels. I don’t have a website but may in the future. A lover of the arts, I have been volunteering at live theatre for 11 years. My love of travel also takes me to several exotic places around the world, where I collect pieces to incorporate into my jewelry. I’m happy to be a part of this creative collection. Hugh Steimle
Hugh Steimle Photography, Recovery Fund Grantee, Visual Arts Hugh Steimle has worked with Photography and many aspects of Visual Arts during his creative career. When photographing both Natural Light and Night Photography subjects, Hugh focuses on capturing images of fleeting moments with thought provoking qualities. He studied Photography at the Academy of Art, San Francisco and more recently completed the Applied Graphics Certificate Program in Santa Rosa at the SRJC. Eric Strand Music, Recovery Fund Grantee Eric Strand is one of the most passionate and dedicated drummers The Frequency has ever known. He is a dear and close friend. Eric and Ian Franklin first started making music together in various projects back in 2002. More recently Eric began playing with The Frequency in August of 2012. Their chemistry has ripened playing all these years together. Since age 15, drumming has been Eric’s core focus and passion. His thoughts become transformed into cohesive rhythmic energy, always pushing limits. He thrives on experimentation and new sounds. Born with a gift for timing and amazing dexterity, Eric brings inspiration to his audience, who are captivated by the depth and quality in all he plays. Delving into new technologies in sound creation, attempting to satisfy a never-ending thirst for perfection and diligently chasing the unique buzz of being able to create something new…. Adrian Susnea Litman
Adrian Susnea Litman Recovery Fund Grantee, Visual Arts Born in 1948, I started to learn about art at a very early age, playing with colors and art materials in my father's Art Design and Restoration studio. In 1963, I was accepted in the Fine Arts High School N. Tonitza in Bucharest, Romania where I studied art techniques including drawing, painting, graphics, engraving, sculpture, fresco, mosaic and ceramics. After finishing the Fine Art High School, I attended the University of Bucharest Art Institute, graduating in 1974 with a Masters degree in Graphic Arts Design. Since 1980, after relocating to California, I worked as a Graphic Designer and Art Director in the Silicon Valley, San Francisco Bay Area until 2003 when I retired from the corporate world and started Adrian Litman Architectural Art & Design Studio. I create artwork for Civic, Business and Private clients, including custom paintings, murals, frescoes, mosaics, sculptures, stained glass panels, fountains and wall treatments, all of which facilitate the harmonious integration of art with architecture. Many of my projects include acoustical components made of recycled materials especially for public places with high traffic, like libraries, large offices and public buildings.

Kot Takahashi Film Office, Recovery Fund Grantee, Talent, Theatre Kot Takahashi is an Actor, Dancer, and Musician from the Bay Area. His passion for the arts drives him in his life long quest for artistic and personal growth. Kot's recent theatrical roles include: “Romeo” in Romeo & Juliet, “Peter” in Prelude to a Kiss, “Han Solo” in Star Wars - THE FORCE the Musical, “Olivia” & “Sebastian” in Twelfth Night, “Francis Crick” in Photograph 51, and “Juror #8” in 12 Angry Jurors. Kot is currently studying theater, music, composition and many different styles of dance. Kot works as an instructor at Alchemia Day program teaching music and dance to adults with developmental disabilities. Kot also teaches theater at elementary schools is Sonoma County. He is one of the founding artistic directors for the new student theater company "Redwood Theatre Company”. Kot continues to forever be a student of the arts.
