I am a visual storyteller.
My two current bodies of work are three-dimensional assemblages using recycled materials. The “Strange Fates of Lincoln: A Portable Museum” chronicles the bizarre but true events surrounding Abraham Lincoln and his family. The exhibits are dioramas built from cardboard and illustrated with my drawings and paintings. My “Threatened Series” consist of masks and visages that represent the global threat to our natural environment and human population and can be seen at: http://susanbercu.art/masks/
