We are happy to announce the five winners of the bi-annual Discovered: Emerging Visual Artists award.

Each artist will receive a $2000 stipend, a joint show at the Petaluma Arts Center, and inclusion in a professionally produced catalogue. This year’s program generated 80 recommendations, nearly 49 applications, 12 finalists and now the 5 winners. Jurors for this year’s show include Kate Eilertsen, Michael Schwager and Jessica Martin.
The show opening is set for Saturday, January 21st at the Petaluma Arts Center, 230 Lakeville Street, Petaluma, 5:00-7:00 pm. Funding for this program is generously provided by the Artist Awards Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Sonoma County.
