2018 is the Year of the Dog, although it always is here at the Charles M. Schulz Museum - home of the most iconic doghouse (one that is large, red, and nice to sleep on).

As we approach the anniversary of the North Bay Fires, the Schulz Museum is inviting artists, community organizations, non-profits, and other groups to give their own original artistic interpretation of a doghouse to raise funds for fire relief. The Schulz Museum will provide functional life-size doghouses to all artists and will reimburse up to $100 for materials when receipts are provided.

Doghouse painting will begin at the Schulz Museum, or your own site, on Saturday, June 16, 2018. Finished doghouses will be on display at the Museum, or your own site, and then auctioned off at the Exhibition Opening on September 29, 2018. All proceeds from the auction will support North Bay fire relief.

The Museum is looking for original design proposals. Doghouses are made of wood with slats on the roof and are available in four sizes. Complete and return the attached proposal via mail, fax, or email by Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
