Artist Statements, Performer Bios, and Author Query Letter Bios

Come explore what makes strong, compelling artist statements, performer bios for press kits, and author query letter bios. This workshop will explore how to make a statement or bio that connects with your intended audience and separates you from everything else out there, as well as how to do it authentically. Following the workshop, you will have the opportunity for our expert panelists to review and comment on your completed statements, bios or query letters.

Kate Eilertsen is a curator, museum director (most recently Sonoma Valley Museum of Art), author, and professor.

Gina Fabiano is an artist manager and entrepreneur (ranging from tech start-ups to music promotion/marketing), and is the Founder and Executive Director of a new nonprofit fundraising platform for performers (Rocking Causes).

Elizabeth Stark is a published author, short film co-director/co-writer, teacher (Book Writing World), and podcaster (Story Makers Show).
