Nature Collage Mixed Media Painting

In the first classes, participants will adhere their natural forms to multiple painting supports as they create a textural composition. In subsequent classes the surface will be sealed, primed and painted.

These techniques of adhering natural materials, layering them, priming, painting and sealing them are very unique. We will be using various soils, different types of leaves and dried flowers as well as lichens to create eco-inspired compositions that draw on the glorious perfection of natural forms and the sensuous textures.
