Tiffany Austin Quintet Dessert & Dinner Shows

The 24th Healdsburg Jazz Festival kicks off with a ravishing artist in a glamorous setting when jazz vocal star Tiffany Austin brings her soulful sound to the Garden Courtyard of Hotel Healdsburg, a longtime festival sponsor. More than singer, Austin is a composer, lyricist, and social activist with a degree from UC Berkeley School of Law. Debuting her Soul Sessions project, she combines swing, funk, and hip hop to reimagine classic songs associated with era-defining artists such as Roy Ayers, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, while also adding her original genre-pushing songs into the mix. Accompanied by her quintet, which features some of the Bay Area’s finest musicians, Austin possesses a storyteller's knack for compelling narrative, woven out of her deep knowledge of the jazz tradition and her command of blues, spirituals and contemporary soul. She's performed on bandstands internationally including at New York City’s Birdland and Dizzy's Den, the SFJAZZ Center, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in her native Los Angeles. Tiffany Austin Quintet Dinner Show includes a welcome cocktail, and a three-course fine dining meal from Dry Creek Kitchen. Veg or meat options available. 5:00-6:30pm. $175 per person (tax and tip included.)

The event will be outdoors, at Hotel Healdsburg's Garden Courtyard.
