This workshop explores Spring during its three-month cycle. Each month offers an independent three-session zoom workshop of poetry, prose, and folklore for writers of all levels and styles. Each class includes a free-write period and optional sharing as well as conversation about select season-related poems, prose, images, and related folklore provided by the facilitator.
Facilitator Karen Pierce Gonzalez has also led creative and folklore writing workshops at community colleges and centers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her e-books include Family Folktales: What Are Yours? LOVE Potions, Lotions, and Lore, and Seaweed Song. Her fiction, non-fiction, and poetry appear in Big Blend Magazine and Audio, Golden Walkman Magazine, Pandemic Puzzles, Postcard Poems and Prose, Potato Soup Journal, San Francisco Magazine, Tiny Thimble Magazine, Twist in Time, and other publications.
