6th Street Playhouse will be seeing Adult and Child actor/singers, at an open call, for roles in the upcoming musical, MRS. BOB CRATCHIT’S WILD CHRISTMAS BINGE!

MRS. BOB CRATCHIT’S WILD CHRISTMAS BINGE! Runs in the Studio Theatre from December 8 – 23, 2017

When are auditions?: Sunday, October 1ST from 6:30 PM – 10 PM

Audition will be held at The Studio Theatre at the 6th Street Playhouse, located at 52 W. 6th Street, Unit B, Santa Rosa, CA 95401
What to Prepare?

Actor wishing to also be considered for any role in the show should prepare one comedic monologue and thirty-two (32) bars from a favorite Christmas song (bring sheet music with you to the audition - you may not sing a cappella).  An accompanist will be provided. Actors will also be asked to participate in a dance audition conducted by the choreographer.  An updated Headshot and Resume’ is required.

Schedule for the Audition:

6:30pm – 9:00pm: Open call for actors to sing 32 bars of their favorite Christmas Song, perform their monologue and participate in the dance audition.  Please contact the email below to set up a 5-minute time slot (see contact below).

9:00pm - 10pm: Possible Cold Readings for Principle Roles.

As a result of these auditions, actors may be asked to come to callback auditions held at date/times TBD.

·         Tiny Tim (played by a young boyish adult)

·         Little Nell – Female (can also play Mrs. Fezziwig, the Beadle’s Wife)

·         Gentleman 1 – Male (can also play Mr. Fezziwig, the Beadle, Act II Bartender)

·         Gentleman 2 –  male (can also play Edvar, George Bailey, Voice of Tess, Serena)

·         Ghost of Jacob Marley – male (can also play Clarence, Act I Bartender)

·         The Nice Mrs. Cratchit – female (can also play Hedvig, Lovely Irish Voice)

·         Young Ebenezer – girl or boy, age 8 through 13

·         Young Jacob Marley – girl or boy, age 8 through 13

·         Other Children: Cratchit Child 1 & 2, and the Child ZuZu (4-6 total children to be cast in ensemble)

All Acting positions are paid.  AEA actors will be considered.
