Call for Artists! "Celebrate!" A National Juried Show

“CREATING COMMUNITY THROUGH ART”
The Arts Guild of Sonoma is celebrating 40 years as a nonprofit artists' collective in the heart of Sonoma wine country. That’s the power of art. We invite you to share the power of your art in this National Juried Open Show.
JURORS: Donna Seager and Suzanne Gray of the Seager Gray Gallery in Mill Valley, CA, offering some of the best contemporary art on the West Coast.
REQUIREMENTS: Open to all artists nationally (over 18 years) in the mediums of Sculpture, Printing, Painting, Photography, Ceramics, Assemblage, Collage, Mixed Media, Fiber Art, and Book Art. This exhibition does not accept jewelry, video, film, performance art, installation or artwork requiring a power source. All work must be original - no reproductions. No works over 50 pounds. 2D work: may not exceed 1800 square inches, must be wired (no sawtooth hangers), and unframed canvases must have painted edge. 3D work: may not exceed 16” width/length and 48” height, and must include a stable base or hanging hardware, if applicable. The gallery will furnish pedestals as needed.
AWARDS: $300 for Best of Show, and $50 each for up to three honorable mention awards. Entry Information below.

Email/website notification of results: Saturday, August 4th midnight PST
Hand delivered accepted works: by August 18th and 19th between 11am and 5pm
Shipped Accepted works received: by August 21st
Show opens: Thursday August 31st, 11:00 am
Opening Reception: Saturday September 2nd from 5-7:30 pm
Show closes: Monday October 2nd, 5pm
Unsold work picked up / shipped out: Tuesday October 3rd, 11-5
