Call For Artists! The Next Generation: A Celebration of Sonoma County's Up and Coming Artists
The Arts Guild of Sonoma is accepting applications for guest artists in our 3rd Annual Next Generation Art Show, highlighting young or new artists currently working in Sonoma County.
This small, curated exhibition will feature 4 to 7 artists making smart, inspiring, work that make us excited about the future of art in Sonoma County. Guest artists work will be hung along side art by our member artists, and will have a chance to promote their work at our event.
Exhibit will be on display at the AGS Gallery June 5-30, 2019.
Opening reception “block party” Saturday, June 8, 2019.
To apply: Email Laura Leipzig at gallery@artsguildofsonoma.org with a short bio and artist statement. Please include 3 to 5 images of your work, and a link to your website/Facebook page/Instagram account if you have one.
Things to Know:
-Past Next Generation Artists are not eligible.
-Must be 18 years of age or older.
-Quality of work, originality, artistic direction, as well as curatorial preference and cohesiveness of the exhibit, are all considered when selecting artists.
-If selected, the actual piece/pieces shown will be determined by you and gallery management to fit the needs of the show and space. It will be the artist’s responsibility to frame or make their work gallery ready.
Entries due by Sunday April 28, 2019
Artists will be selected by May 6, 2019
