February 7 – March 27, 2020

Santa Rosa Arts Center invites you to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment — women’s right to vote in this country by submitting art that explores the struggles and the victories of the women’s movements. Artwork on suffrage, the Equal Rights Amendment, the Glass Ceiling, equal pay for equal work, violence against women and the #metoo movement exposing the prevalence of sexual harassment and sexual assault.   An opportunity to create and express the diverse aspects of feminism, the milestones, the relevance today and the continued strength, perseverance and wisdom, it can bring to the future.

Submit artwork February 1 and 2, noon-5pm. All media. Work may be up to 48″in any dimension. Entry forms will be available on this page in late January and will also be available at the submission. Please wire all 2D works for hanging.

You may enter up to 3 pieces and will receive 60% of sales and SRAC 40%.

Entry fee: Members $15/entry, $40 for 3 entries. $20/entry non-members, $50 for 3. Membership is $30-50/year.
