CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: CHAIR-ity Art Makeover Fundraiser

We are looking for creatives who will renew one or more of these classic bent wood Shelby Williams chairs for our fundraiser on Nov 16 at the wonderful Bees N Bloom Garden. 

Perhaps we were too enamored of Greta Thunberg and the young climate activists, but we couldn’t allow these sturdy, lightweight beauties to be crunched up by bulldozers at the landfill. 

Instead, went on safari to Mill Valley to make their acquaintance.  We talked to them and they talked back, “Don’t just give us a superficial make over,” they said.  “Reincarnate us!  We were made to be Art.” 

We’re doing our best to give them their heart’s desire.
