CALL TO ARTISTS: Front Page Art for Sonoma County Gazette

The Sonoma County Gazette, a monthly newspaper that reaches 27,000 readers within Sonoma and Marin counties, is seeking to partner with Sonoma County artists throughout the 2021 year to produce/showcase local artist work.

The purpose of the Sonoma County Gazette is to build community, yet a community that is missing within our pages includes our artists. My hope is to feature an artist each month with a piece of art that would speak to the month's editorial theme and/or current events. The artist would get an opportunity to have a 1/4 to 1/2 page ad/article in exchange for partnering with me, the new publisher.

Please let me know if you are interested. For December's issue, the Gazette partnered with The Velvet Bandit. Not only did I get to work with her to choose the right piece for the front page, but we got to promote the opening of her website right before the holidays.
