Entertainment Shows Announcer
Job Summary:Portrays role in shows to interpret character and/or presents educational information to audience. Occasionally assists in the development of material and scripts for shows
Essential Job Duties:
Perform daily operational duties to assist the department to include covering open positions, communicating show changes, schedule changes and other details and sharing information with co-workers and management.
Portray a role in shows to interpret character and/or present educational information to the audience while communicating with trainers, a/v techs, and other actors to react to changing situations.
Perform all assignments and responsibilities as outlined for an actor, announcer, stagehand, spotlight operator, special effects operator, and camera operator.
Change into and out of costumes as dictated by show script and maintain show costumes as needed.
Openly accepts performance feedback and adapts accordingly
Meets provided performance measurements and show quality standards
Occasionally participate in production work such as voice over work and assisting in the development of show themes & show scripts
Assists with trainings, choreography, blocking, and stage direction as needed
Maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards through all assigned tasks.
Consistently set the example for following all park policies and procedures.
Maintain departmental and area safety policies and procedures.
Perform other functions as directed by leadership for the good of the department and park.
