Position: Executive Director for the Redwood Arts Council, a non profit 201c3 arts presenter in West Sonoma County, established in 1980. The mission of the Redwood Arts Council is to present chamber music in small, rural venues where audiences can see, hear and feel the music on a more intimate level. Contract work (10-20hrs/week) to be done remotely, however, management and presentation of events in Sebastopol and Occidental and attendance at board meetings is mandatory. We are looking for a dynamic champion of the arts who will work collaboratively and creatively with our board, volunteers and partners to achieve our goals. If you have experience as a nonprofit manager with a history of success in fundraising, program and budget management, and production of live musical events, this might be the position for you.  Key elements of the job are listed below; a full job description will be sent to all applicants or inquirers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Strategy formulation and execution of our current goals

Supporting the Board of Directors

Volunteer management

Program oversight

Financial Management

Fund development

Fiscal management of $40K operating budget, including book keeping for the organization

File 501c3 documentation and prepare financials for accountant

Artistic Management

Season concert schedule and venue rental

Survey and contract season talent (5 concerts a fiscal year-generally Oct-April)

Public Relations

Create yearly membership and concert season campaign

Promote each concert and the organization through mail, email and social media
