JOB OPPORTUNITY: Visitor Services and Administrative Coordinator
The Visitor Services and Administrative Coordinator is a critical public-facing member of SVMA’s small, energetic staff, who works closely with the Development and Marketing Coordinator to maintain a highly effective interface with SVMA’s visitors, members, volunteers, and the Sonoma community.
S/he is an enthusiastic and perceptive “people person,” with excellent organization and communication skills to manage the Museum’s admissions desk, volunteer program, and general office needs. SVMA’s 40+ volunteers currently serve in three regular roles—Guides, Front Desk Hosts, and Events—and assist with special projects. The Coordinator also handles logistics for public programs and special events, and during exhibition changeovers may also be assigned to assist exhibition staff in a variety of roles.
