Young Singers Foundation Accepting Applications for Women's Vocal Music Projects
The Young Singers Foundation was created by Sweet Adelines International in 1992 to enrich the lives of young people through educational programs in vocal music.
The organization advances that mission by awarding scholarships to individuals, grants to school-based music programs, and funding in support of afterschool and community vocal music activities for young people.
The foundation currently is accepting applications for grants to support projects that encourage education about and the performance of women's barbershop vocal music. Grant amounts will be determined on a project-by-project basis.
Eligibility is limited to individuals, groups, or organizations sponsoring barbershop vocal music activities for young women.
