ART & WRITING CONTEST: Students K-12

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin are holding a monthly Art & Writing Contest, "Create & Celebrate!" Create an original piece of work related to the month’s prompt. Entries may include drawings, painting, collages, poems, short stories, essays, etc. Check back each month for a new theme!

THIS MONTH’S PROMPT: WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
Using your creativity, tell us about a woman that inspires you. The woman can be famous, from the past or present, or a family/friend/mentor.

PRIZES:
The Top Three entries in each grade group (K-2nd, 3rd-5th, Middle/High School) will receive a backpack filled with school supplies. The winner of each grade group will also have their entry featured on the Create & Celebrate online gallery.

RULES:
One entry per person. Contest is open to all Sonoma County & Marin County Youth ages 5-18. Youth do not need to be a Club Member to participate. Deadline to enter is last day of each month (e.g. 3/31 for March contest).

NOTE FOR PARENTS: By entering, you agree to have your child’s name and artwork displayed on our website, if selected.

TWO WAYS TO ENTER:
1) Submit a digital copy through our online entry form.

2) Give your entry to any Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin staff. Please include name, grade and the Club (if applicable).
