Call for Entries - SECRET IDENTITIES: Masks and the Art of Concealment

Our own face in the mirror fascinates us, making us question whether what we see reflected back is reality, or a projection, a persona, an alter-ego behind which we hide.

A mask can be worn to  liberate the wearer from inhibition, to beguile and entice the viewer, or to conceal and protect one's true self. Entries to SECRET IDENTITIES should reflect these and other themes relating to alter-ego and concealment.

Entries may include masks in any media both wearable and not, paintings, drawings, mixed media, photographs, sculpture, and video. This is a non-juried show, open to artists with a 100 mile radius of Santa Rosa.
