CALL FOR VOLUNTEER JUDGES: Youth Art Competition

The Press Democrat, along with several partnering organizations including Creative Sonoma and supportive local businesses, is launching a Sonoma County youth art contest titled “The Sonoma County Imagination Project."

Youth in grades TK-12 will be invited to submit images of up to two paintings, drawings or computer-aided graphic creations with the theme of "Brighter Days."

The deadline for youth entries will be in late September, with judging occurring in late September and early October 2020.

As we expect a large number of youth entries, we will select enough judges to balance the review workload equally. To ensure equitable access to this competition, youth without means to submit electronically may submit physical work: in the event of physical submissions, some of the judging may take place in-person. This is a volunteer position.

To apply to be a judge, please be age 19 or older and a resident of Sonoma County.
