CALL FOR YOUTH ARTISTS: Petaluma Arts Center

The Petaluma Arts Center is presenting Youth Art in our gallery setting. If you are a music or performing arts teacher and would like your students to perform at PAC on either April 16 or May 7, please let us know! (Simply respond to this email)

• Exhibit Dates: April 14 - May 28, 2022

• Art Submission Due Online: March 25, 2022

• Announce Online Selection: March 30, 2022

• Drop Off Art at PAC: April 9, 2022 10:00am - 2:00pm

• Exhibition Reception: April 14, 2022 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Open to all Students: K-12 in the greater Petaluma area.

Entry Donation: PAC suggests a $5 optional donation to enter up to 3 works of art for juried selection to the exhibition.

Selection Process: Forms of visual art that are eligible include collage, drawing, painting, photography, prints, multimedia, sculpture, and textile. All art must be original and not copies of master artists or images from the media. Jurors will select student art for the exhibition based on California Visual Arts Standards relevant to grade level: Artistic Perception, Creative Expression, Historic, and Cultural Context. All dimensional artwork will be accepted.

Submission Process: Complete this ONLINE FORM

Framing: All selected 2-Dimensional art should be framed and ready to hang.

Online Gallery: To be posted on the PAC website.

Awards: Will be given for outstanding achievement for elementary, middle, and high school categories.

Sales: All sales are made through the Petaluma Arts Center; CA sales tax is applicable. Proceeds of sales are split 60/40, with the artist retaining 60% of the price, PAC retaining 40%.
