DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS GRANT - SUBVENCION: DIVERSIDAD EN LAS ARTES

Introducing the Art and Culture Collective of Northern Sonoma County, a platform dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career artists, as well as arts and culture professionals, who are committed to effecting transformative change in the Northern Sonoma County community. As a cornerstone of our work, we prioritize amplifying the voices and perspectives of BIPOC individuals and groups living and working in the area. We invite all Sonoma County residents, regardless of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, religious creed, age, or any other protected basis, to apply for our awards and join us in cultivating artistic and economic growth.

Our online application opens on March 31st and closes on May 8th at 11:59 pm. Award recipients will be announced on July 1st. Grant recipients will have access to our community exhibition, the date and location of which will be announced by the collective.

We welcome artists and arts and culture workers under various categories, including but not limited to Craft or Artisan Work, Literary Arts, Media Arts, Multidisciplinary Arts or Other, Performing Arts, Traditional and Folk Arts, and Visual Arts. We also encourage

artists from historically underrepresented communities, undocumented artists and/or arts and culture workers, and young and/or emerging artists to apply.

Presentamos el Colectivo de Arte y Cultura del Norte del Condado de Sonoma, una plataforma dedicada a apoyar a artistas emergentes y de mediocarrera, así como a profesionales del arte y la cultura, comprometidos con efectuar cambios transformadores en la comunidad del norte del Condado de Sonoma. Como piedra angular de nuestro trabajo, priorizamos amplificar las voces y perspectivas de individuos y grupos BIPOC que viven y trabajan en la zona. Invitamos a todos los residentes del Condado de Sonoma, sin importar su raza, color, etnia, origen nacional, sexo, identidad de género, credo religioso, edad u otra base protegida, a solicitar nuestras becas y unirse a nosotros en el cultivo del crecimiento artístico y económico.
