FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Hewlett 50 Arts Commissions - Folk and Traditional Arts
Applications are now open for the Hewlett 50 Arts Commission in Folk and Traditional Arts! ACTA is administering this opportunity for Bay Area nonprofits to partner with a lead artist from anywhere in the world to create and premiere new works of folk and traditional art in the Bay Area.
Each $150,000 award will fund projects based in performative genres, including dance, music, storytelling and theater, and other traditional arts expressions that have a strong performative element, according to the community of practice.
LOI submissions open on Friday January 22, 2021 and close on March 8, 2021.
