GRANT OPPORTUNITY: Individual Artists Fellowship program

Youth Speaks announced a new partnership with the California Arts Council regranting $740,000 in unrestricted funding to 35 California-based individual artists and culture bearers at the intersection of culture, ancestral and Indigenous practices, and multi-racial movement work.

The Individual Artist Fellowship program application is now open!  This fellowship recognizes, uplifts, and celebrates the excellence of Northern California artists and culture bearers practicing any art form.

Grant Guidelines:

Deadline: September 30, 2023, at 11:59pm Pacific Time

Grant Awards: $5,000 – $50,000

Fellowship Period: November 1, 2023 – October 31, 2024

Eligibility: For Artists who reside in Region IV of California (includes Sonoma County)
