Overview
We are a creative studio in the licensing industry looking for someone who is energetic and has a positive attitude to fill a production art and design position with room to grow. Our mission is to safeguard the legacy of our creative property and build partnerships that foster brand equity. Role in Studio
Create, collaborate and contribute to creative projects that support the brand or licensing
Core Responsibilities
- Review product design submissions for licensed product
- Develop designs or illustrations for partners or in-house creative projects
- Support key licensees with specially created artwork
- Clean up or modify existing art
- Create production ready art assets for studio projects or external partners
Ongoing Duties
- Work with department teams on various projects
- Research poses from the strip or asset library
- Design, letter and color graphics
- Assist in digitizing and cleaning up art assets for the studio
- Visual research and development
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Degree in art related studies and 2+ years related experience
- General art skillset
- Coloring, Flatting
- Lettering and/or Typography, Design
- Digital clean-up, vector art production
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Mac OS X
- Strong communication skills and desire to work in a collaborative, team environment
- Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail
- Deadline focused
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to communicate clearly across departments and with partners
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- May require occasional travel for training or experience
