2018.11.01: Poetry Reading by Iris Dunkle and Gwynn O'Gara

In times of crisis, poetry can equip us with a kind of survival; it can be conscripted to provide comfort, as an outlet for rage, or a vehicle for change. Come for a poetry reading by two former Sonoma County Poet Laureates, Gwynn O’Gara and Iris Jamahl Dunkle, who will read their poetry from the fire, about change, resiliency, and hope.

Joining them will be Iris’s student, Ernesto Garay, and Gwynn’s fellow Poet in the Schools, Kyle Matthews.
