Modules 2-4 contain a mix of self-paced online course work and live class sessions.

Learn about this amazing training opportunity to become a teaching artist! Learn to design residencies, lessons for classroom instruction, and about classroom management. 

The hybrid series begins Sept. 27!

Those who complete the Teaching Artist Training Course have the option to opt into the Teaching Artist Practicum, which pairs participants with LBC’s expert teaching artists for a hands on, in-school experience. Participants will shadow LBC teaching artists through a residency process, receive mentorship and guidance from LBC staff, and ultimately be given the opportunity to take the role of lead teaching artist in a structured classroom environment.

Participants are eligible for payment for completion of the residency through Creative Sonoma. The Teaching Artist Training Course is a required prerequisite for participation.
