PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: School Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Leaders
A first-ever School VAPA Leaders Cohort will be offered by the Sonoma County Arts Education Alliance. This Cohort will strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment for experienced and developing school arts education leaders. Monthly virtual meetings will focus on helping leaders build their own professional capacity in areas such as arts program management, public relations, arts program advocacy, building trusting relationships with administrators and teachers, and “making the case” for local and regional VAPA coordination. Members of this group will share expertise and support each other as they each navigate their individual roles as district or regional VAPA leaders.
Meetings will be held virtually on 2/14/22, 3/14/22, 4/11/22, and 5/9/22 from 3:30-5:00.
