VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Usher Positions

We are looking for volunteers who have a passion for the arts, connecting with and caring for people and have pride for upholding the quality at our region’s premier, world-class arts venue. Volunteer ushers will fill an essential role that directly effects our guests’ enjoyment. Their welcoming, knowledgeable and courteous manner will set the tone for each visit and contributes to positive first impressions and lasting memories for our guests. Customer service is our “performance.” It is as essential to the guests’ experience as the performance on stage.

Requirements:
• Eighteen years or older
• Professional demeanor
• Mobility without assistance and capable to stand for long periods of time, able to climb stairs, comfortable working on the Balcony level and content sitting on the designated usher stools in the Hall. 
• Ability to volunteer at least six events per “trimester” (six during the summer, six during the fall and six during the winter) for a total of 18 over the course of a year.
