WORKSHOP: Helping Kids Manage Stress and Anxiety Through Art

HOPE Series Session
Stress and anxiety weaken verbal communication in children and adults. In this challenging time, families are more tested than ever by the impact of intense emotions. Luckily, art works when words don’t.

In this innovative workshop, learn simple and practical art therapy-based tools to nonverbally contain challenging emotions in children and teens, to creatively calm stress responses, to imaginatively transform worries and fears, to resourcefully soothe our own anxiety, and much more.

Join us and engage in hands-on art activities to inspire novel ideas for addressing stress and anxiety at home, in the classroom, or in therapeutic contexts. This online workshop is for anyone with a child in their life, personally or professionally. It is intended for adults only.

Saturday, May 1 from 10:30am-12:00pm
