Cazadero Music Camp

We provide a nurturing, inspirational environment for young musicians ages 9-18. For more than 65 years, Cazadero has offered a dynamic music education program that strikes a thoughtful balance between in-depth music education and carefree summer camp fun. Caz is set on 33 acres near the Russian River in Sonoma County where young musicians learn together under a canopy of spectacular redwood trees. Our vision is to bring the transformative Caz experience to as many youth as possible. Combining music and nature in a truly unique setting, young musicians develop a love of music which lasts a lifetime. Our impact is evident in the inspired performances that close each session and the heartfelt evaluations of the young musicians themselves. Our Programs

Cazadero inspires over 1,400 youth during a typical year through two complementary music programs, Summer Music Camp, and JumpStart in Music. Our Summer Music Camp brings together a diverse and talented student body from across the Bay Area and beyond. Campers work closely with skilled Conductors, talented Music Faculty, and a devoted Camp Staff. They discover their love of music, develop their musicianship, gain confidence in their playing, and make lasting friendships. Learn more. JumpStart in Music is a low-cost, high-impact weekend version of our Summer Music Camp for school and school district music programs. JumpStart brings Sonoma County and Bay Area public school students, their music teachers and high school mentors together for a three day, condensed immersion program which produces some remarkable results.
Child Parent Institute

Our Creative Arts programs include an array of therapeutic, expressive, educational, and recreational activities and events in the areas of visual arts, theatre, music, movement, and more. These programs and activities are designed to strengthen social and emotional skills, boost self-esteem, and provide critical tools that yield lifelong benefits for participants. The Creative Arts team provides after-school groups, summer camps, in-school performances and workshops, family engagement activities, and community outreach and education. Many of our participants have been impacted by challenging experiences early in life, including toxic stress, special needs, and trauma. CPI’s Creative Arts team, in addition to contributing their professional artistic skills and expertise, are trained in trauma-informed care, strengths-based practice, and building protective factors that strengthen families and communities.

Through open studio time, workshops and classes, teens experience art disciplines such as hand built and wheel thrown ceramics, sewing and knitting, painting, drawing and construction. The Art Studio staff members are always available for help with projects. We are dedicated to promoting a vast variety of affordable activities that foster creativity in a fun artistic atmosphere.

Through theatre, music, dance, and storytelling, we aim to strengthen community ties, broaden the cultural horizons of the entire community, and help prepare people of all ages for careers in the performing arts. Our History: The Cloverdale Performing Arts Center, Inc., a non-profit organization, was originally formed in May 2007 to provide a vehicle for education in, production and development of the performing arts, included but not limited to drama, musical and related cultural productions and to encourage community participation in all aspects thereof. The establishment of a performance space was intended to aid in the ongoing improvement of rundown areas; bolster the economic future and vitality of not only our downtown through increased traffic, but also our hotels and restaurants; and to provide a forum for our community to gather to share in what we, the community, can create. The Cloverdale Grange was our first home. That building, located at 201 Commercial Street, was to have been remodeled into a professional theatre built with funds from the City of Cloverdale, but then the building formerly known as Clover Fitness Center located 209 North Cloverdale Blvd became available early in 2008. CPAC then entered into a contract with the City of Cloverdale to purchase and renovate that building. Cloverdale Performing Arts Center will continue to manage the use of the Grange Building as a performance space, theatre annex, office, classroom and workshop space.
De Colores Arts

We create inclusive space for connection and self-expression through the arts. We offer a community integrated, person-centered program, utilizing art as the medium to improve lives. De Colores Arts was formed to enliven the intrinsic motivation of neurodiverse participants through their engagement with each other and through artistic means. Our team is comprised of artists, therapists and educators. In 2023 De Colores Arts is thrilled to expand its presence from the South Bay/ San Francisco/ Marin to Sonoma and Napa counties! Our goal is to be accessible across communities, regional centers, and organizations that provide social and vocational services to those of all abilities. With this, we address the fundamental human right to an inclusive, connected, and joyful life.

Escolar is an art and design research collective working at the intersection of regenerative agriculture and cultural production within an anti-capitalist and de-colonial framework.

We maintain a curatorial practice and an exhibition venue, a residency with production facilities and support, provide design and fabrication support for local activists and maintain a one-acre experimental farm with an emphasis on native flora.

-We provide housing, food and production support for visiting and local artists.

-We produce public art exhibitions and complementary workshops, talks and symposiums.

-We foster a symbiotic relationship between cultural, agricultural and land-use practices.

-We build linkages between theoretical and material labor/ modes of work.

-We organize a space where creative work is separate from the cultural hierarchies and professional roles of global finance capital.

-We develop, explore and deepen communal understandings of regionally specific land management practices and their histories.

-We help provide local youth with access to a world class network of artists, musicians and thinkers.

-We provide educational programs to emerging artists and the public on regenerative agriculture.
Green Music Center at Sonoma State University

As a cornerstone of Sonoma State University’s commitment to the arts, the Green Music Center is a place to witness artistic inspiration through year-round programming, serving as home to the Sonoma State University Music Department, the Santa Rosa Symphony, and Sonoma Bach. The mission of the Green Music Center is to present the most compelling artists of our time, to investigate ideas, and to provide access to diverse artistic experiences that educate, connect, and inspire Sonoma State University and neighboring North Bay communities. Built to bring together artists, students, families, music-lovers, and more, the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University is a gathering place for our diverse communities in Sonoma County to explore and enjoy the things that move and inspire us. The center includes the 1,400-seat Weill Hall, with a rear wall that opens to lawn seating for a unique summertime experience, and the intimate 240-seat Schroeder Hall.

Healdsburg Chorus
Healdsburg Chorus Music, Nonprofit, Performing Arts The Healdsburg Chorus is a beloved musical institution in Sonoma County. 2018 will be the 30th year we have performed in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa. We’re well known for our twice-yearly concerts of popular and holiday songs. We’d love to have you attend a concert – or better yet, join us in song and fun.
Healdsburg Jazz
Healdsburg Jazz Adult Arts Education, Education, Holidays Shop Local, Music, Nonprofit, Performing Arts, Performing Arts Membership or Season Tickets, Youth Arts Education Since 1999 the Healdsburg Jazz Festival has become a favorite local tradition with a growing national and international reputation. People come to the summer Festival each year to hear world-class music and to experience Healdsburg and Sonoma County. The San Francisco Chronicle describes the Festival as, "one of the best small jazz festivals in the country if not the world."

In addition to the annual Festival, Healdsburg Jazz sponsors numerous free music education programs in Healdsburg area schools for primary and secondary school students, as well as for adults, and presents a series of Jazz Master concerts, discussions, and a variety of events throughout the year.

In 2019 Healdsburg Jazz hosted or co-hosted 120 jazz performances and music-related events, 75% of them completely free of charge, and it served about 2,000 children in our community. A real tour de force of Jazz, Education and Community. In 2020 the organization adapted to the limitations of the pandemic, with 85% of the events completely free, and around 4,000 attendees from all over the world joining in our virtual events.  In 2021, Healdsburg Jazz continued monthly virtual programming, presented video concerts, created educational programs that celebrate events such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Maya Angelou, and Juneteenth, and will present a live Festival (outdoors, distanced, covid-compliant) June 17-20. This 2022 year, Healdsburg Jazz is offering two new fall events: Music for Sonoma Families and a Music & Performing Arts Camp, in addition to the Zoom events throughout the year, Freedom Jazz Choir, the Healdsburg Jazz All-Star ensemble, and the Juneteenth Education Celebration.  We look forward to full in-person educational program offerings in 2023.

Founded in 1999 by Jessica Felix, Marcus Shelby is the current Artistic Director. Healdsburg Jazz is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
Jake Ward Presents
Jake Ward Presents Dance, Festivals/Markets, Music, Performing Arts, Special Events, Theatre, Visual Arts Jake Ward Presents is a boutique entertainment and event promotion company based in Santa Rosa. In addition to producing local artistic showcase events we offer freelance consultation and event planning services. Jake Ward is the founder/director of multiple local arts enterprises including North Bay Cabaret, a monthly variety show series which occurs every third Friday at Whiskey Tip in Santa Rosa, and most recently, the Roseland Community Festival which debuts on Sunday October 1st. As an emcee, booker, and creative consultant, Jake Ward has worked with a number of local events and clients such as The Handcar Regatta, Railroad Square Music Festival, Rivertown Revival, Courthouse Square Festival, The Kinetic Carnivale, and many more.
Karen Miles

Combining the arts with movement and meditation has the profound ability to build a community of resilience, authenticity, and compassion. Kenny Simeone Music KENNY SIMEONE from San Rafael California I have been playing around the Bay Area for some time writing and performing with my own band doing originals and covers. I am now looking to place my music in TV and film. I have switched from being a lead guitarist to more songwriting recording and production. I do all my own work, mix and master all my own music . I have had the plaesure of opening or shareing a stage with the likes of Little Feat, 2005 Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame inductee Buddy Guy, Quicksilver Messenger, Merl Saunders, Derek Trucks (Allman Brothers), Martin Fiero (occasional sax man for the Grateful Dead), But now it is time for a new vision. I recently had been writing jingles for marketing companies we haven’t gotten work by KCBS radio and KNX radio in Los Angeles. I do all my work from home in a soundproof studio and have been studying mixing and mastering for the last five years.
