The goals of the Museum and Cultural Center are to educate the public about California Indian history and cultures, to showcase California Indian cultures, to enhance and facilitate these cultures and traditions through educational and cultural activities, to preserve and protect California Indian cultural and intellectual properties, and to develop relationships with other indigenous groups and other traditional and ecological advocates.
The Cotati Accordion Festival

We host over 40 acts on 7 stages with 70 or more vendors. Music is continuous from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM both days. ZYDECO DANCING FROM NOON TO DUSK BOTH DAYS. The Imagine Bus Project
The Imagine Bus Project Education, Nonprofit, Nonprofit Services, Visual Arts Through arts education and community partnerships, The Imagine Bus Project engages and inspires incarcerated youth, and youth impacted by the juvenile justice system. We enable self-expression and positive personal development so that young people can successfully re-enter their communities and find a path to a fulfilling future. THE IMAGINE BUS PROJECT ENVISIONS: Juvenile Justice system-entangled youth who are able to express themselves creatively and healthfully, take risks safely, and plan for a fulfilling, positive future. Involvement in the Juvenile Justice system as an opportunity for personal reflection, transformation and growth for adjudicated young people. Our program model demonstrating achievement of healthy self-expression, improved personal development, a positive future orientation; and, can be replicated or adapted to reach more system-involved youth. The Imagine Bus Project delivers cross-cultural learning experiences that focus on relationship building and art as tools for problem solving. We focus on exposing youth to creative opportunities and artists with the belief that art has the power to save lives and put adjudicated youth on a path towards a future in which they are healthy and empowered to lead creative and productive lives. TIBP’s Theory of Change models that youth need a creative vehicle to build confidence through creativity, develop meaningful skills through their craft, and connect with their communities in order to break the cycle of incarceration The Imagine Bus Project is a Creative Sonoma Arts Education Integration Grantee, to support the Youth Studio visual arts program in Sonoma County's Los Guilicos Juvenile Justice Center and Sonoma Probation Camp.

The Imaginists have been creating place-based theatre for over ten years, six at our Santa Rosa base. Our innovative, often community-specific and site-specific, work has led to groundbreaking collaborations that investigate participation on many levels. From bilingual works and community projects to ensemble devised creations, the Imaginists investigate and upend dominant narrative in artistic form and story, re-imagine public space, and cultivate radical inclusion in making works of art. The Monarch Project
The Monarch Project Arts Council/Alliance, Association/Club/Group/Guild, Creative Design, Education, Film/Video, Fine Crafts, Kids/Family, Nonprofit, School, Visual Arts The Monarch Project aims to spread a message of love and acceptance for immigrants, regardless 0f their documentation,  all across Sonoma County and beyond. Our artists and activists paint monarch butterflies on the walls of businesses, libraries, all kinds of other public places. Each butterfly comes with a QR code that will bring them to this page where the locations of all the others are displayed, and the story of each butterfly is told. We challenge everyone to find these butterflies and to listen to the stories they represent. If you are a business, organization, or individual interesting in hosting a butterfly, please get in touch with us! Sonoma County has been and continues to be a county of immigrants. In today’s volatile political climate, the basic rights of immigrants are being violated. We believe that immigrants are a key part of our society and economy and we refuse to allow such injustices to continue. We believe that people outweigh politics and that protecting the human rights of immigrants should not be a partisan affair. We envision a future in which immigrants are celebrated for their invaluable presence in our society, and a future in which our undocumented peers no longer have to live in fear and hiding.

The Petaluma Chorale
The Petaluma Chorale Music, Nonprofit, Performing Arts The Petaluma Chorale is a mixed vocal ensemble dedicated to the art of superior choral singing including, formal, jazz, Broadway and other contemporary styles. Our director is Linda Evans Manuilow, with accompanist Miles McKenzie. We work in 16 week sessions in the fall and spring culminating in at least two performances per session. We rehearse in Cram Hall, St Johns Episcopal Church in Petaluma.

Tika & the Moonshines is a versatile North Bay band led by Tika Moon. They tackle some of the most difficult and fun songs from the 1930’s to the present, covering popular songs in a variety of genres: Rock, Pop, County, Americana, Folk, Blues, Showtunes & Jazz. With powerhouse vocals and tight harmonies, Tika & the Moonshines bring you the songs you remember and love, along with fun original songs. With such a huge variety of tunes, there is bound to be something for everyone to enjoy. Tika & the Moonshines have an authentic chemistry and joy that is apparent in all their performances. We want YOU to have a great time, so come party with us! Tika & the Moonshines has the ability to accommodate smaller venues as well as large events and parties. Need a solo artist, a duo, trio or a full band? We have got you covered. With a diverse song list we can cater the set to your liking! Tika Moon heads up the Moonshines on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. She is backed by some stellar musicians and an all around wonderful group of people.  Starting in November of 2022, Tika has added new performers and filled out the band to accommodate larger gigs with Isabelle McLoone on vocals, Anthony Williams on lead guitar, Tyler Crowley on drums and the incredible Alan Roter on lead guitar, bass, organ and more!  Tika has had the pleasure of working with many other incredibly talented performers over the years including Molly Larsen-Shine, Matthew Witthaus, Liz Fanora, Rob Wegner, Chris Newton,  and Nappi Madrid.
Tika Moon - singer/songwriter
Tika Moon - Singer/songwriter Music, Performing Arts, School, Special Events, Theatre Tika Moon is a Bay Area performer (singer, actor, and musician) performing in this area since 1996. Inspired by many different genres, Tika makes classic hit songs into her own renditions, as well as writing her own original songs about dating, life, food, and female empowerment. Her influences are shown in her theatricality and comedy as she harnesses the likes of the Flight of The Conchords, Tenacious D and Phoebe from Friends. Tika Moon is a trained professional singer with an emphasis in theatre, guitar, dance, flute, piano, and ukulele.  Tika can seamlessly go from jazz, to blues, to belting out a rock song or singing an Italian Aria. With almost 30 years of performing experience, a 3 octave range, a variety of music genres, Tika has created her own unique style of performance. Tika sometimes performs with her band, Tika & the Moonshines which features other local Sonoma County artists. In her spare time, Tika performs locally in the theatre world at 6th Street Playhosue, The Raven Performing Arts Center, Spreckels Performing Arts, Cloverdale Performing Arts,  and Sonoma Arts Live.  You can occasionally find her singing at Senior Living Facilities, wineries and bars. UPside Dance Company
UPside Dance Company Dance UPside Dance Company is a Contemporary Dance Company in Northern California. The goal of exposing more dance to Sonoma County has inspired Kate Ahumada and Tanya Tolmasoff to co-found UPside Dance in 2012. Their concept introduces dance to those who are curious in a supportive and adventurous environment, creates more performance opportunities for the developing dancer and fosters collaborations with local designers, artists, and musicians of Northern California and the Bay Area. UPside has become known for bringing contemporary dance to unconventional spaces and always include an aspect of interactive choreography to their work. Kate & Tanya feel that this non-traditional performances bring dance to unpredictable and tangible ways of communicating to new audiences. The co-directors of UPSide Dance Company, Kate and Tanya, have danced internationally in professional performance groups throughout California, Colorado, New York City, London, and St. Petersburg, Russia. Bringing their beaming optimism back to their roots in Sonoma County, the dynamic duo wishes to collaborate and communicate between the local dance hubs to support the dance community, enhance the artistic talent seen in local theaters, share new ideas, connections, and masterclass opportunities.
