SoCo Dance Theater is dedicated to the creation and promotion of dynamic and engaging contemporary dance in Sonoma County.

We support and showcase local choreographers exploring traditional and experimental approaches to dance. We are a unique mix of Sonoma County choreographers who wish to explore and share within our community the power and passion of dance. From informal showings to finished theatrical performances, join us in discovering the joy and inspiration from watching dance.

  • Filming from SoCo Dance Theater's "Into The Heartwood" that took place at Bruce Johnson's sculpture garden exhibit, Root 101, at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. This filming took place in summer of 2017, a few months prior to the October wildfires that burned many of the sculptures seen in this film.
