The California Theatre of Santa Rosa’s mission is to champion the performing arts in Santa Rosa for all. We connect people with one another and with art that can enrich their lives.

Left Edge Theatre produces a year-round season of daring plays, imaginatively staged for adventurous audiences in Northern California.  Founded in 2015, the company distinguishes itself by producing contemporary plays never produced in Sonoma County before.

We endeavor to thrill, challenge and engage audiences in ideas that make us think, laugh and feel more. With the highest artistic standards and the regions most talented theatre artists, we produce a professional season of ambitious performances in search of what is best in ourselves and in the human spirit. At Left Edge, we believe theatre has the power to open hearts, broaden perspectives, and transform lives. Our goal is to share this experience with as many people and communities as possible. Young Actor’s Studio is devoted to providing affordable theatre classes and stage performances to local youth. Theatre Arts have the ability to inspire creativity, build confidence and teach the power of teamwork. Through classes and performances we spark young people’s imaginations and bring them a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
