La Luz Center Nonprofit, Nonprofit Services La Luz Center is a Family Resource Center (FRC) that has served Sonoma Valley’s most vulnerable families for 36 years by strengthening community through family services, economic advancement, and community engagement. We serve 87% of Sonoma Valley's Latinx population, making us the premier place for families seeking assistance in managing and improving their lives and, as a result, are a trusted provider of community-based services. We provide family strengthening services, parent-child education programming, mental and behavioral health counseling, crisis counseling, civic engagement opportunities, English language training, employment counseling, construction training certification, financial/housing support, computer education, citizenship classes, small business development and lending, food distribution, medical services, legal and immigration services, and multicultural event programming.

We select shows written within the past 6 years and never presented in Sonoma County before. They may have had successful runs in other major cities. ABOUT THE STUDIO THEATRE The 2,500 square foot Studio Theatre is located at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts and can be accessed from the South Parking Lot. It contains its own box office, lobby, tech booth, intimate 60 seat theatre, dressing rooms, scene and costume shop and classroom space. The new STUDIO THEATRE is the artistic home of Young Actors STUDIO and Left Edge THEATRE. Young Actors Studio provides training and performance opportunities to young people aged 6-18. Left Edge Theatre is a professionally oriented live theatre company presenting Sonoma County premieres of plays written within the past 6 years.

LIME Foundation

Linda Schroeter Artist Education, Visual Arts Linda J Schroeter (b. 1963, Australia) is a representational oil painter based out of Geyserville, Sonoma County. Linda has always had a passion for drawing and painting and has been drawn towards realism through inspiring Dutch masters of light such as Rembrandt van Rijn and Johannes Vermeer. Her most current body of work continues her exploration into important visual vocabulary in Western art, working in traditional methods inspired by nature and natural light. Her paintings all have a significant symbolic meaning and together form an allegorical visual treat for the viewer’s intellect to decipher making her paintings interact with both the artist’s intention and the viewer’s analysis.

With these basic human attributes ingrained into the youth of our communities, enlightenment is assured for our future. Our mission here at the LDEI is to fill the education gap created by the mainstream. Our vision is to see every child learn to appreciate their self-worth, resilience and power. Social emotional skills gained from our program are self-confidence, teamwork, and perseverance. Success of the program will be measured in three ways; by the obvious joy in the children's minds and hearts and the culminating event produced, and an online anonymous survey students and parents can fill out to give feedback. Historically after school programs focused on either just physical content or on academic content, here at LDEI, we understand children are multifaceted and deserve to have every aspect of their being served. Our program broadens children's horizons by teaching them…to keep going when its hard and that's when things pay off. Our program develops character by having students work closely together, building an interdependence that shows working on the same goal moves all forward. Building much needed community awareness. Goals Instill empowerment, self-determination and a sense of accomplishment to the children of the area to instill Self-confidence, Teamwork, Enlightenment for their future.

Living Your Wild Creativity Visual Arts Living Your Wild Creativity provides in-studio Abstract Art classes and workshops for adults of all levels. Suzanne Jacquot often has guest instructors and provides private mentoring as well in her large art studio.
