Catherine Sieck is an artist and gardener, her studio practices of cutting paper, making ceramics, writing, and self-publishing little books, etc... are all in a constantly unfolding conversation with her work on land.

She is currently settled in the Laguna de Santa Rosa, ancestral homeland of the Southern Pomo.

Her recent work seeks to serve as an antidote to death-phobia and a celebration of the lushness and liberation that comes from weaving death back into life.

She tends the public gardens at Maddux Ranch Regional Park in Larkfield, CA and has an art studio at 33arts in Roseland, CA.
