Coping Strategies for Undocumented & First-Generation Students

Coping Strategies for Undocumented & First-Generation Students

Presented by Raizes Collective at Online/Virtual Space

Students deal with many stressors, and it's important to find healthy coping mechanisms. Learn about the principles of yoga- Yamas and Niyamas- which guide us in living a more joyful, fulfilling life, meditation, and breathing techniques to help cope with stress and anxiety as a student.

Griselda Madrigal is passionate about building community through the healing practice of yoga, both physical and philosophical. She has a Masters degree in Mexican American and Latina/o Studies where she studied the stressors of undocumented Latinx students and more recently a certified yoga teacher, with a passion in providing growth opportunities to everybody by integrating yoga with mindfulness and social justice! Heal mind, body, and soul.
