Topic: Family Poetic License Sonoma - “Family\" with special guest poet, Kat Crawford

This month PLS explores the theme of “Family\" in Poetry and are joined by special guest poet Kat Crawford:

Kat Crawford is a native San Franciscan and currently lives in Tiburon, California, with her husband. She received her Masters’ degree in Poetry from Dominican University in 2019. Her work has been published by Creative Woman,Nomad’s Choir, Spillway, Marin Poetry Center Anthology and Tuxedo at Dominican University. Presenting poets: Kusum Jain, Susanne Arrhenius, Joe Cutler, Paul DeMarco, Leo McCloskey, Steve Trenam, Judith Vaughn, Jaime Zukowski Poetic License Sonoma, a group of 8 poets read each month at Sebastopol Center for the Arts Fourth Tuesday Zoom Poetry Series. Though often a solitary pursuit, the writing of poetry, like all artistic forms of communication, is nurtured through the collaboration and support of others. They encourage and celebrate this form of artistry in our region, and beyond, through poetry readings, like this one; the publication of their work; and a steady stream of new writing.
