For 60 years, South Africa’s Ladysmith Black Mambazo has warmed the hearts of audiences worldwide with uplifting vocal harmonies, signature dance moves, and charming onstage banter. After establishing themselves as one of South Africa’s most successful music groups in the 1970’s, they shot to international stardom in 1987 when Paul Simon famously incorporated the group’s rich harmonies into the landmark album Graceland. In 2018, the group received not one, but two Grammy® Award nominations for two separate albums, a first in the history of world music.
