Healdsburg Jazz is proud to present the powerful blues singer and bandleader Terrie Odabi and her group for our special 2022 MLK Day Family Concert and celebration on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 7:30 pm-9 pm at the beautiful St. Paul’s church in Healdsburg, CA. Terrie will cover a wide range of music from the Civil Rights Movement including a feature on the songs recorded by the Staple Singers. Healdsburg Jazz Artistic Director Marcus Shelby will give a presentation on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the importance of music during the Civil Rights Movement. Proof of Vaccination/Masks are required.
