Join us for a fun workshop show where you get to decide the material!

Everyone enrolled will select scenes or songs and deep dive into the text. We’ll score our scripts and discuss the subtext, motivation, character choices and more! Expand your knowledge of performing and fine tune your technique. At the end, the scenes and songs will be put together in a staged workshop performance!
About our program:
Our philosophy is that exposure to auditioning, ensemble casting and live performance should be comfortable, educational, self-enriching and FUN! We pride ourselves in our unique program. One where any student willing to better themselves and their community through musical expression and participation, can!
How does our adult show/class work:
Our adult program is a little different than regular community theater. We encourage all adults regardless of experience, disability, age, ethnicity, or gender to audition! Our program is a great experience for adults who have done little to no theater in their life, or for people who maybe did productions in school but it’s been a long time since.
Our casting is based on helping adults in our community grow in skill and gain confidence. It is a collaborative experience with the director(s) and cast, where we get to play and share ideas while we construct our version of this show.

Adult tuition helps to pay for our instructor and show expenses.  MTME will do its best to costume adults, but you may be asked to bring in costume pieces or supplement your costume.
In exchange for your tuition you will receive 10 tickets to the show, which you can give to family/friends, or you can sell to family/friends and recoup your tuition.
