CAM SCHOLARSHIPS
CAM and our sponsors are pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships for the 2019 conference, Changing the Narrative. 

Eligibility

Scholarship recipients must meet at least one eligibility criterion, be residents of California, and describe the benefit of attending the conference in the application.

Preference is given to applicants who meet the following criteria in the order of weighted importance:

Candidates of Latino/Hispanic, African, Asian, Native American, and Pacific Islander descent;
Emerging museum professionals with less than five years’ experience;
Staff or volunteers employed in areas that are underrepresented at the conference, such as curatorial affairs, development and marketing.
Staff or volunteers from museums in rural areas defined as Central Valley and far Northern California and others;

Note: Past CAM conference scholarship recipients are not eligible.

 
Scholarship Details

Each scholarship includes:

• A complimentary full two-day registration to the conference (valued at $300-350),
• A complementary ticket to the Conference Welcome Reception;
• A one year CAM Individual Membership (valued at $35).
   

Note: The scholarship does not include lodging, travel expenses, workshops, meals or optional evening events.
