KRCB-FM Radio 91 / Northern California Public Media is looking for a few great radio volunteers.

KRCB-FM is Sonoma County’s community-powered, non-commercial NPR radio station for the North Bay. KRCB-FM is currently looking for volunteers who want to learn about radio broadcasting, radio production, and/or volunteers who have experience with non-commercial radio. There is training, and many opportunities to grow with Northern California Public Media. Some volunteers that started as weekend board operators have moved on to having their own shows on our airwaves, and others have moved on to regular on-air positions, and in some cases, there are opportunities for paid air shifts. 

We are also looking for volunteer event technicians. Our event techs help set up and break down our booth for radio and TV events all over the North Bay and help represent the stations during the events with a fun and positive attitude. Northern California Public Media attends many community events throughout the year.
