Youth Memory Portrait Competition for Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Exhibition

September 28-November 10, 2019

The Museum of Sonoma County’s annual Día de los Muertos exhibition will feature artwork and altars designed and created by local artists, community organizations, and collectors. We are also proud to feature special works made by our Youth+Art students and highlight the submissions from the Memory Portrait Competition.

The Memory Portrait Competition has begun! All Sonoma County 5th-12th grade students are welcome to participate. Best of Show will receive a $250 cash prize, second prize will receive $150, third prize will receive $100. Other prizes will be awarded for different categories. Winners will be announced at the Day of the Dead Family Day on Saturday, September 28 (12:00-4:00pm, at the Museum of Sonoma County).
