CALL TO ARTISTS, Barbie: Reclaimed & Reinvented

Trashion Fashion 2020 Barbies invites the public (all ages) to participate in this creative and fun way to celebrate waste management awareness!

We have gently used Barbies, Kens, and friends individually bagged (with entry form included) to choose from on the back patio between 10am – 4pm, Mon. – Fri. at the Sonoma Community Center. 276 E Napa Street, Sonoma CA 95476.   Dolls will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis until they’re gone. You may submit your own doll(s) as well.

We are also accepting entries via curbside drop off on the back patio during the same hours until October 9th.   Mail in submissions welcomed.

During the full Week of Trashion “Barbie: Reclaimed & Reinvented,” will be on exhibit online! The exhibit includes a silent auction of the dozens of cast off Barbies rescued from local thrift stores and recycling plants repurposed and dressed in tiny trash couture by local artists. The dolls will be available for sale as well. The exhibit will remain open through Nov 21st where final Barbie bids will be made.
