CALL TO BIPOC ARTISTS: Pond Farm Artist in Residency

This is a unique opportunity for BIPOC artists from all genres to be immersed in nature, to be inspired by the spirit of past Pond Farmers )Marguerite Wildenhain's former students). and to have the space and time to create.

The Residency is underwritten by the Julia Terr Fellowship and is a partnership between California State Parks and Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods.

Selection timeframe - 4/16/2021-4/22/2021

Artist Notification - 5/1/21

Beginning in 2021, The Pond Farm Artist Residency will be underwritten by The Julia Terr Fellowship to support residencies that give priority to both emerging and established BIPOC artists and writers. It is the goal of the fellowship program to welcome diverse artists and writers to work on specific projects they want to address or new areas to investigate. The duration of the residency is one month and offers a one bedroom self-accommodating cabin on the site of Pond Farm Pottery, as well as a stipend of $250 to help cover some expenses e.g. for food or travel.
