Front-of-house staff are often faced with the need to de-escalate or diffuse a situation, and during mask and vaccine requirements, this has only become more acute.

In this De-escalation Training, IMPACT Bay Area instructors will introduce and model verbal and social techniques, which attendees then get to practice in realistic role-play scenarios. These opportunities to practice are designed to boost your front-of-house staff's confidence for real-world situations.

De-escalation Training covers:

Internal skills for self-defense, intuition and situational awareness
Adrenaline management skills to regulate our own emotions
Self-defense voice, using language that can alert oneself, the attacker and bystanders
Verbal strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations
The cost for this training is $50 per person, with a 25% discount for TBA member companies and a 50% discount for our small theatre company members (operating budget below 300K).
